Night Out and Week One

My first night out in London was a blast. It was a 30th birthday party in Soho, and I had fun catching up with an old friend, Sandy, from College. His friends from work (also from the states) were a blast as well, and I look forward to more good times with them. I think we stood out as the Americans at the bar, but I didn't care. I've never really been one to be shy.

Since then, I've managed to find an apartment and am working on some European travels. Likely to Spain and Morrocco to visit family and friends and soak up the last of the summer fun. So far, I find London to be very welcoming and extremely cosmopolitan and I'm excited to be here. Stay tuned.
